Gosh! I Was PHAT!

A few days back my dearest best friend Ameer decided to upload a few photos of us way back during lower secondary school in Facebook. At first, I hated it! Back in those time, I was my own worst enemy. Totally hate myself. I was FAT. Scratch that, OBESE! Imagine I was once weigh almost 110kg! Definitely obese...

But somehow, suddenly something/someone inspired me to lose weight. It was tough to discipline myself, excuses are the barrier. Always stop half way through. Then I told myself, "Aren't you ashame of yourself? Having hard time to find the suitable clothes and suitable size for yourself." Clothes have been my biggest inspiration to lose weight. After that I crack layers and layers of walls, walls of excuses that stopping me to achieve my goal.
When I was From 4. Who ever can spot me will get a chocolate cookie from me

When I was in Form 2 with Ameer and Khairi. Ameer has the greatest success in losing weight as well...

When I was Form 3, again... "Where Is Fauzee?" LOL!

And so, this is the result. From fat to phat....

Arif, Ameer, Khairi and yours truly... See! Ameer now...

King and Queen of the Night... No no... Nana's weight has nothing to do with this post. (Nana, sila kembang kempis your hidung sbb bangga. Hahaha!!!)

With SP and KY at Cherating. How I miss those time... *sigh*

Everyone asked me, how did I lose so much of weight. OK, let me give you the tips.

1. Avoid all kind of carbohydrate. Oatmeal is exceptional.

Believe it or not, carbohydrate is the one to be blame especially if your body tend to have low metabolic rate. Rice, white bread, noodles, crackers. No, don't do the cracker diet. I've tried it before. Trust me, you'll gain those extra pound again in no time.

2. No fried, oily, sweet, salty food.

Well, this is not something that you never heard before. Just follow it.

3. Eat lean meat - chicken (chicken breast's the best) and fish

It's a must. Please follow religiously

4. More veggie and fruits.

This is really important because here is your source of fiber and fructose aka sugar aka energy. Well, you do generate energy from protein but you want to avoid that cause you need those protein to build your muscle.

5. Work out!!!

Don't starve yourself. You'll tend to burn your muscle instead of your fat when you starve yourself. As a beginner, I jump rope 30 minutes everyday and do 50 sits up for 2 weeks. Then, increase the intensity. Jump rope 1 hour and 100 sits up for the next 2 week. The following month, jump rope 1 hour and 100 sits up on alternate days e.g. If you did your work out today, rest on the following day and so on.

Even though there are certain moment where I do gain back a little weight, not much maybe around 1 or 2kg, I'll discipline myself to lose what I need to lose. Throughout the whole journey, I've learn that there's no such thing as shortcut or the easy way to lose weight healthily. It's all about discipline and determination. Always keep your inspiration in your mind.

That's how I live my Life On The Fab Phat Lane... LOL!

And if you want to share your experiences or tips, you are most welcome.

Good luck!
